We are pleased to announce that “International Symposium for Production Research 2017 (ÜAS2017)” will be held at Vienna University of Technology, Karlsplatz Campus in Vienna, Austria between  13-15 September, 2017 with the theme of “Transition to Industry 4.0
This symposium has been organized in Turkey sixteen times since 1997, each year by an esteemed university and “Üretim Araştırmaları Derneği” (Turkish Society for Production Research), the last one taking place at Technical University of Istanbul in 2016.  Over the years, some researchers from universities outside Turkey made contributions to the symposiums at various capacities, as keynote speakers, invited industrials and so on.
The  Programme Committee for the International Symposium for Production Research 2017 (ÜAS2017) is seeking on best practices and case study applications in all aspects of production and opeations management.
The main goal of the symposium is to bring together researchers, scientists and experts at universities, companies, institutions, communities, agencies, associations and societies to provide them a unique platform for sharing worldwide ideas as well as the recent developments on production and operations management  and technology.
The new era in the World together with the rapid technological development of the industry is also transiting to Industry 4.0. Especially science and technology is facing enormous changes with this transition. Today with the science and technological development, production and operations platform is showing a blast. This new transition is causing a rapid change in factories as well. Researchers working on this field are invited  to submit their research papers, exhibiting the experiments in transition phase to Industry 4.0, in the symposium.
Special sessions, invited speakers, poster and oral presentations, and thesis presentations will be included to the symposium program.
We invite you to submit papers and proposals for the  sessions on production and operations reaearch areas.
